Maintaining a sensible standard of dress

Members and visitors are expected to be smartly and tidily dressed both on the Courses and in the Clubhouse.

Everyone is asked to respect these standards and no-one should be offended if they are asked to leave the Clubhouse or the Courses in the event they are unable to comply.

On the course:

  • Smart casual dress at all times.
  • Shirts must have sleeves and collars. Shirts should be tucked in.
  • Trousers should be tailored (with a fly, side pockets and a waistband). Blue denim jeans, camouflage military style trousers and tracksuits are not acceptable.
  • Shoes should be designed specifically for golf. Trainer shoes are not permitted on the course.

In the Clubhouse:

  • Smart casual dress at all times.
  • Football, rugby shorts or any clothing carrying slogans, numbers or illustrations that are not golf related are not to be worn in the clubhouse.
  • Hats and cap should not be worn in the Clubhouse.

Mobile phones

We allow mobile phones on the course but we ask that they are used for emergency purposes only. Within the clubhouse we request that they are used with consideration of others in mind.
