The sixth at Tyneside is one of the hardest par 3s around. At 195 yards (white tees) and with out of bounds all along the left it requires a well struck tee shot to find the tiered green with bunkers guarding the right hand side. If faced with a Westerly wind you can be faced with faiway woods or even driver off the tee, on a calm day a 3 or 4 iron is normally required.
