How to play no. 1

The first at Tyneside can be a challenging hole when there is a westerly wind. At 351 yards (white tees) it is not the longest but it does require a good uphill drive to take you over the ridge and to the right hand side of the fairway which should leave you a 7 or 8 iron to a sloping green.
